ALVARADO, Texas — Darlene Kay Walker of Alvarado, Texas, passed away Saturday (March 3, 2018) after a prolonged illness.
Darlene was born to Henry and Katie (Onnen) Sjuts on April 5, 1947. She graduated from St. Joseph School. She had many jobs throughout the years, her most current as a bus driver for Venus ISD. Darlene’s favorite pastime was reading a variety of books.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Blagg; sons,
Cliff Walker and wife Lisa, Wes Walker and wife Delina, Chad Walker and wife Andrea and Corey Walker and wife Dusty; sisters, Dorthy Bunten and Louise Brownfield; seven grandkids; and extended family.
