Matthew Karl Drake, 38, of Rantoul died at 6:41 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Homer.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022, at Morgan Memorial Home, Savoy.
Matthew was born on October 6, 1984, in Champaign, the son of Karl and Mary Marberry Drake.
Survivors include his father of St. Joseph, children, Izabella Schumacher, Bayleigh Drake, Emitt Schumacher and Conner Schumacher of Rantoul, brother and sister in Law, Nicholas and Jennifer Drake and his nephews Liam and Aiden Drake of Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Matthew held multiple roles for Schnucks in both Champaign and Urbana.
His children were his greatest joy.
Matthew loved cars, motorcycles, electronics, science fiction, music, and helping anyone he could.
