IDNEY — Dr. Tamara Thabes Mitchell passed away at home in Sidney on Saturday (Sept. 28, 2019).
She was born May 2, 1943, and was predeceased by her husband, Dr. George Mitchell, in August 2016. They were married for 52 years. Dr. Thabes Mitchell was a physician and administrator at Carle Clinic and hospital for 36 years, from 1967 until her retirement in 2003. She was also an accomplished artist and horse owner and rider. Private arrangements are pending.
