THOMASBORO – Daniel J. Ackerman, 51, formerly of Thomasboro, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 27, 2014.
He was born Aug. 17, 1963, in Urbana, to John F. and Annetta Fruhling Ackerman. Dan is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Also surviving are his mother, Annetta Ackerman of Urbana; two sisters, Rose Lanter Mabry of St. Joseph and Donna Hartman of Greenview; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, John Ackerman; two brothers, the Rev. Marvin Ackerman and David Ackerman; and a niece, Alicia Ackerman.
Funeral arrangements are private.
