Carol E Moore Fiock


CHAMPAIGN — Carol E. Fiock, 95, of Champaign died at 1:47 a.m. Tuesday (April 16, 2019) at Amber Glen, Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2019, at Morgan Memorial Home, Savoy, with the Rev. Kris Light officiating. Entombment will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum, Champaign. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Carol was born July 7, 1923, in Urbana, the daughter of Rueben and Elizabeth H. Claytor Moore. She married A. Conn Fiock on April 1, 1945, in Champaign; he died Oct. 31, 1998.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie D. (Mike) Wilson of Urbana and Judith E. Kelley of Champaign; four grandchildren, Sean Treat, Ryan (Melissa) Wilson, Heather (Chris) Dukeman and Cory (Tanya) Wilson; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Rueben “Jack” Moore, and a son-in-law, Gordy Wilson.
Carol worked for J.M. Christie, Unit 4 School District and the Illinois Geological Survey. She was a member of University Place Christian Church, Champaign. Carol was an avid bridge player, a volunteer for Provena Covenant Auxiliary and a Red Hat lady.
She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank her caregiver, Candice Williams, and staff at Amber Glen Memory Care for taking special care of our mom.
