Ruth Brackemyre

URBANA – Ruth Brackemyre, 85, of Urbana passed away at 8 p.m. Sunday (June 14, 2015) at Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Freese Funeral Home, 302 E. Grand Ave., St. Joseph, with Dr. Marsh W. Jones officating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Ruth was born March 16, 1930, in Hensley Township, the daughter of Kenneth and Nellie Myrick. Ruth married Louis Brackemyre on Oct. 11, 1950; he preceded her in death on March 7, 2012.
Ruth is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Don Myrick.
Ruth helped her husband farm and enjoyed crafts and going to Gordyville.
