HOMER – Ella Christina "Chris" Coffman, 46, of Homer, formerly of Villa Grove, passed away unexpectedly at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday (March 9, 2016) in Oakwood.
She was born May 31, 1969, in Tacoma, Wash.
Survivors include her mother, Patty Malloch of Tolono; her stepfather, Steven Malloch of Villa Grove; a son, Adam Shanks of Homer; two daughters, Ashtin (Jeramy) Bader of Homer and Kaitlin (Ryan) Washburn of Newman; two brothers, Kenneth W. Coffman of Homer and James R. Malloch of Tolono; and three grandchildren, Derik and Jerry Bader and Lillian Washburn.
Chris loved travelling, especially to the beach. She will be remembered as a free spirit, a very selfless and giving person, and above all else, a devoted and loving mother.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the National Park Foundation.
All services and interment will be private. Templeton Funeral Home of Paris is in charge of arrangements.
