HOMER - Susan F. Wilson, 97, of Homer beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Sunday (June 30, 2024).
She leaves behind two daughters, Linda (Denny) Reardon of Homer and Debby (Terry) Brewer of Homer; three grandchildren, Ashley McCartney, Haley (Mark) Hallett and Tracy (Tony) Prahl; and a half brother, Robert Waggoner. She also had nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, daughter Dixie Clark and granddaughter Theresa Rogers.
She lived a long, fulfilling life doing what she loved, mostly spending time with her family and working in her yard. She loved working jigsaw puzzles and watching the Cubs and Illini. Susan grew up and lived most of her life in Homer.
No services will be held. A private burial will be in GAR Cemetery in Homer.
