Randall E. Busboom

OCALA, Fla. – Randall E. Busboom, 60, son of the Rev. Don and JoAnn (Miller) Busboom, died peacefully Wednesday (Feb. 21, 2018) at his home in Ocala, Fla.
He was born Nov. 20, 1957, in Urbana and grew up in Illinois and Minnesota. He received his B.S. degree from Concordia College in Seward, Neb., where he played baseball and basketball. He was retired from Sherwin-Williams in Ocala, Fla.
Randy is survived by his mother, JoAnn Busboom, Gifford; an aunt, Betty (Dan) Medrow; and uncle, Larry (Evelyn) Miller, all of St. Joseph; an aunt, Patty Busboom, Geneva; great-aunts, Louise Wann of St. Joseph and Janet (Ralph) Heath of Ogden; and many cousins. He is also survived by a close friend, Carrie Wray of Ocala, Fla.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Don Busboom, and uncles, Gene and Wayne Busboom and Don Ehmen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Peace Lutheran Church, 200 W. Arnold, Thomasboro. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service
at the church. Burial will take place at Kopmann Cemetery, rural Royal.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church or to Kopmann Cemetery.
Freese Funeral Home in St. Joseph is handling arrangements for the family.
